Flight Instructor
Position 2
( Based in regional base, Tamworth in New South Wales)
Singapore Flying College operates Cessna C172 and Piper PA44 G1000 aircraft. The College is seeking appropriately qualified Flight Instructors to join our professional organisation.
Candidates must meet the minimum selection criteria:

CASA Commercial Pilot Licence
-
At least Class 2 Medical Certificate
-
CASA Grade 1 or Grade 2 flight instructor rating
-
500 hours flying experience in aeroplanes
-
Instrument Rating Training Endorsement
-
Night VFR Training Endorsement
-
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
The following qualifications are highly desirable:

Design feature training endorsement

Experience on C172 and G1000 Avionics System
Remuneration:

The position is for a full-time role, and we offer an above award salary.

Additional allowances are paid for NVFR, IRTE, and METE

Responsibility allowance is payable to those who take up supervisory positions as Supervisory Instructors, Flight Safety Officers, and Assistant Chief Flight Instructors.
We offer an attractive revised remuneration package which includes a sign on bonus and gratuity for every 5 years of service and concessional travel on Singapore Airlines.
Upon completion of 30 months of service, SFC Flight Instructors will be offered an interview with Singapore Airlines Group for a Direct Entry Second Officer position on one of the fleets operated by the SIA Group.
Successful candidates will be moved to the SIA Group after a minimum of 3.5 years of service with SFC (subject to terms and conditions) for type-rating conversion and initial operating experience, and will be appointed as First Officers on completion.

Assistant Chief Engineer

Singapore Flying College, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, operates a fleet of Garmin G1000 Cessna C172R & S aircraft. We are looking for a self-motivated, multi-skilled individual willing to contribute to the Company as a valuable team member.
Selection Criteria:

Must be qualified B1.2 LAME

Exclusions removed E2, E3, and E37. (Preferred if Excluded E1, E4, and E5)

Preference to have experience in the above aircraft type

Sound knowledge of Civil Aviation Safety Authority Regulations

As a Deputy Chief Engineer, you are responsible for the coordination, job assignments and timely completion of required aircraft maintenance and must be able to fulfil the responsibilities of the Chief Engineer in their absence. These activities will be, but not limited to:

Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of airframe, engine, and electrical systems

Performing all maintenance in accordance with the approved manuals

Supervise unqualified maintenance personnel and follow company policies and procedures.

Ensure documentation is true and accurate.

Issue Aircraft Maintenance Release after completion of work

Carry out troubleshooting and defect rectification on SFC aircraft

Executive, Facilities and Administration

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Executive in Facilities and Administration at the Singapore Flying College in Perth, WA. The role involves overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of facilities and general administration which includes IT support.
Responsibilities of the ideal candidate include:

Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the College facilities, which encompass the main building, the accommodation block, and the surrounding areas.

Managing and coordinating with service providers and vendors for the procurement of goods and services.
-
Overseeing the various contracts with service providers and vendors related to facility maintenance, including tenders, requests for quotations (RFQs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and renewals.
-
Additionally, the candidate must ensure that all external and internal audit requirements are met and comply with applicable Australian laws, regulations, and company policies..

Assist the efficient operations of all computers, networks and peripherals in the Company branch office in Western Australia.

Assist Head office to purchase of new hardware and software

Liaise with vendors on IT related matters if required.

Assist during network maintenance.

Assist for IT related matters and projects.

Any other duties as assigned by the Branch Head, General Manager and IT Manager.
Qualifications

Australian Citizens/ Permanent resident

Minimum 3 years experience in a management position
